Every year the ATA Annual Conference gathers about 1,800 dedicated translators and interpreters to help them tackle current challenges and keep them competitive in a global economy.
Our QA consultants, Dolores R. Guinazu and Gabriela Escarrá, who are voting members of the American Translators Association, were present at the 58th ATA Annual Conference. They shared their knowledge on how to avoid negative client feedback by running quality checks, including computer-assisted translation tools and quality assurance software.
Their session aimed at providing a better understanding of the issues to be considered to maximize the quality of translations. They shared a practical glimpse into several errors that are generally overlooked and numerous tips on how to boost the quality of translations.
